Romance, comedy, and family. It may sound boring, but that is what works for me to help keep me away from depression.
Music I Like
Country, folk, easy-listening. Can't stand so-called music where all you can make out is the hard base drum beat, or so-called singers who can't sing but have to talk all throughout the song.
Things I Don't Like
Mean, arrogant, or rude people.

ABOUT ME
I am a disabled/retired USAF Captain. My service-connected injuries include a broken back & neck, which eventually required cervcal spine surgery to replace three discs & insert titanium plate. Unfortunately, during that surgery, the procedure had the down side of causing my left vocal cord to be paralyzed.
I am gradually coming to terms with my limitations. More importantly, I believe, is the fact that I have learned that I love life and living. That is not to say I don't have lots of down time, and difficulty; rather, I am trying to focus on what I have (and can do) instead of what I don't have (and can't do).
After a near-death experience, and having fought through extreme hallucinations, I feel I have some type calling (though I have not determined what that might be).
