As I can't sit at the movies, I don't go to theatres. I love to watch a movie with friends, but tend not to watch them at home by myself. My favourite way to watch a movie, is to have friends over, have a meal and watch the movie with a wine or two.

I play an American Indian Flute...and also percussion instruments.

Would rather be out and about listening to live outdoor music...at home, because I live on acreage, I find I like the sound of the birds rather than having music playing.

Fiction which is based in a country where the culture is brought into the story.

Having to spend 90% of my life lying down, offers me challenges, which I believe make me an interesting person to be around.

In my stillness, I find others become still, and in that space, feel safe to open up to me about their life and experiences. I am then able to have some lovely deep and meaningful conversations with the young through to the elderly.

I have a pelvis condition...which has majorly affected me for over 30 years, but having said that, I manage it well by exercising in the pool....I am glad I am a person committed to exercising, as otherwise I would be bed-ridden.

I love to socialise, even though that involves taking a mattress or a banana lounge to lie on...but people accept me despite my disability...I believe we all have some limitation..whether it be physical or mentally/emotionally.

Hi Annie,

I also have a pelvic problem.  I have pelvic floor dysfunction.  I also have Interstitial Cystitis, IBS, and depression.  I am  going through pelvic floor therapy right now.  The muscles around my bladder and urethra are all knotted up.  I have to urinate several times a day because my bladder thinks it is full when there is barely anything in it. I don't mean to give TMI.  I just haven't found anyone else on this website that has trouble with their pelvic area.  I am in bed alot because of the pain but when I have good days I take advantage of them and do what I can. I have had my illnesses for 19 years now. I live out in the country on 20 acres. I saw you also have some acerage. I have a son in college and a 14 year old daughter.  I have never been to Australia but would love to visit there one day.  The Australian accent is my favorite. I live in Alabama in the US. I have a country accent.  I don't like it so much.  What in the world is a banana lounge?  I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care,

Kristi
