Spending time with my extended family.Reading, walking my dog, wading in the ocean, searching for sea glass, rides in the country with friends, movies, knitting on circular looms (I'm new to it ),nice quiet conversations, crossword puzzles, looking for bargains at thrift shops, riding to yard sales if a driving friend is going to some, travel(mostly in my imagination, considering financial considerations).

Music_Music_MUSIC, Living WITH Fibromyalgia

I am a woman who can sometimes become overwhelmed by noise and confusion. However,I come from a large family and our noise is usually a comfort, evoking memories of childhood when our parents were still alive.I like quiet places like beaches, woods and my own little apartment.

I live with two fur people, one feline,Emmy, one canine,Ruari,[sounds like roary].They keep me amused and, sometimes, amazed. They are my 'kids',now that my own two children are adults with busy, productive lives of their own.UPDATE:I had to place Emmy with an animal rescue organization because my dog,Ruari,is allergic to her and she was biting and scratching him.I miss her, probably always will.I keep Ruari even closer now.

Last and least,I have ADD,Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis,a hip that "pops out of joint" (I have ways to fix it without giving money to a doctor. :D I also have Bipolar Disorder and PTSD from seeing an intruder shot and also bleeding out.I pray a lot and meditate in my own way.I do fairly well because I am vigilant about any stimulai under my control.

Hi Mountainman,

Would that be Joplin,MO? I ask because my daddy came from MO and I think he may have spent some time in Joplin. He grew up in Morehouse, lived in St.Louis for a year or so with Mom before coming back to her home state of Maine.

Peace,

beefree
