Hello, as I am new to this community, I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Gene. I have a small company which creates, designs and distributes wheelchair accessories. We have a website about wheelchairs, two wheelchair accessories which we currently market and several which we will soon launch.

My 84-year old father has been wheelchair-bound since his stroke 4 years ago, and he is heavy.  I'd like to hear from anyone who has suggestions about how to maneuver him from the wheelchair to another chair or toilet, without breaking my back.  What once worked no longer does, as he is less able to help in pushing himself up.  Any suggestions?
