Symptoms of fibromyalgia are chronic, widespread pain and allodynia. Symptoms can include fatigue, needle-like tingling of the skin, muscle aches, muscle spasms, weakness in limbs, nerve pain, bowel disturbances, and chronic sleep disturbances.
Pain can be devastating. Pain may range in intensity from slight through severe to agonizing and it may be experienced as sharp, throbbing, dull, nauseating, burning, shooting or a combination of these.
