I am curious...
How many people could be working from home if they had adequate employer support? With the Internet, software advances, a computer in many homes and the ability to do things like:
*Phone Work
*Telemarketing
*Bookkeeping
*Accounting
*Report Writing
*Secretarial Duties
*Medical Transcription
*General Transcription
*Business Correspondence
*Additional Office Duties
And any number of other, 'Paper-Shuffling,' forms of work; *Why* haven't employers started employing people to work from home in large numbers? The benefits could be huge for everyone involved.
*No cost for benefits related to employees
*No or reduced office space costs
*Reduced costs for management personnel
And others. It just seems to make sense if people already have their own computers, and are capable of performing the work from home to have them do so. What do you think?
