man, does anyone have experience w/ this? conversations here. i love to travel and i'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair. anyway, traveling makes you a different person. you take things less seriously in life and also rejuvenate your spirit. i get a rush when i watch the travel channel too. :)

I'm not in a wheelchair, "yet", but it looks like it is definitely in my future.  To this point, I have used wheelchair assistance at each of the airports in my travel.  I travel back and forth between MS in the US, and the Philippines.

Others I have travelled with have seemingly had no problems.  It does make it a lot easier if you are either travelling with someone, or have someone to meet you at your destination.

Good luck with your travel.  I love living in the Philippines, yet it's nice to go back each year and visit with my grown children in the US.  It's not likely mine will come visit; not for lack of desire, but lack of budget.  I can Really relate to that aspect.
