The Journey-Who siad you were ugly?

The Journey-Who said you were ugly?

Who was it that broke your spirit and laughed at you; gaze at you; call you ugly names because you were different?  The reflection of your face in a mirror on the wall does not look like beauty to the world; your body is not the shape of a prize figure skater; or your speech is not as eloquent as others and can sometimes be mistaken for just a mutter; should I journey on or should I just stop?

Where do we go when we feel rejected by others? Thousands of questions run through our minds: now that I am disabled I feel that I am cast aside. In fact what do we do; or who do we turn to, in times of need, you may ask?  Life is full of challenges and when we look outside of ourselves in a world that speaks another language if we have visible disabilities, it we are not careful, we will struggle.  But if we look in and find the strength of self worth and the inter beauty of God, we can journey on.  The journey may get hard and even sometimes it can become a lonely place, but if we look up to God, He will give us the strength to continue to run our race.

We are not a mistake; no matter what our disabilities are, we must take courage, this is our contest. This is our race so we must run it well, that is why we must continue to run and never give up.  It take courage to try to do what we once found  was so easy and now it is hard, that is why we must continue to reach out to other and look up to God, because He has made us. Know one thing---- He has made all things beautiful-yes even you and I.

Sometimes we struggle and even cry, and have many questions and wonder why. Why is some people able to journey on in life without the disability of pain and others seem to have to sit on the side lines of life and cope with differences. I have found that through this journey: On this road there is no room for self pity; pity will cause you to drown.  Cry if you must; struggle for a moment; but then ask God to take your hand and get up because you are worth it.  What is ugly to the world is beautiful to God and others who love you! Don’t shut the world out---- just continue to love and be the best at your race.  Remember, there is only one of you and you win.  Never Give Up. Never!

Persecution

Courage is certainly a gift from GOD and HE gave us an abundance of it.
