H1N1 Vaccination
Posted On 11/16/2009 06:44:37 by Jennifer

I got my H1N1 Vaccination Thursday. It gave me a sore throat and a headache, but it sure is better than a full blown case. It was hard to get the appointment to get the shot. I was fortunate. I hope it isn't long before the elderly can get theirs. I'm worried about my grandmother.

a few more things in general
Posted On 11/13/2009 11:07:36 by irishguy

These are a few things I forgot in my first blog.  The school house I went to did not have indoor plumbing.  We had outhouses. One for the boys and one for the girls. If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would videotape each action and word, so I could play them back day... Read More

My Milestone
Posted On 11/09/2009 11:07:05 by jarhead

Well I have almost made it! Thursday the 12th of November will be three years sober! Three very trying and rewarding years. I have written other blogs about my battle with alcoholism and all the struugles that I have had. Believe me many times I have heard that bottle of WILD TURKEY calling my name from the stores and the bars. My renegade side wanted to run, but my sensible, determined side helped me not to. After many long years speaking to my Therapist ( My wife Thunderstorm) I have realiz... Read More
