Movies I Like
I have been a horror and sci fi fan ever since I was a kid. The one that scared me the most though was The Exorcist. I loved The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I was 16 when I read the book and I am looking forward to the release of The Hobbit. One of my favorite movies is Captain From Castille. I have so many more favorites I would bore you to list them here.
Music I Like
everything that is good , doowop, 50'5 and 60's, Elvis the Beatles ,Michael Jackson, classical, jazz, jazz rock fusion, R&B, soul, motown,70's country, and some contemporary country, the only kind of music I can't stand is rap, I don't consider it music anyway. I have an eclectic and vast collection of vinyl.
Books I Like
Anything by Stephen King, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, A Tale of Two Cities, Alice in Wonderland (read it 12 times lol), The Rolling Stone History of Rock and Roll, The Occult by Collin, to name a few.
Things I Don't Like
Stupidity , censorship, war, crime, bullies and cowards, boasters, people who try and force their beliefs on others.

I am a recent amputee, right leg,bn. I love life and people and through my therapy I will walk again. I am committed to this and have a very positive atitude. I am interested in chatting with disabled ladies who understand. I now live alone and crave the company if only on line. I am honest, caring , and affectionate.

Just wanted to drop by and ask if you ever read Thinner, by SK. If you did I hope you read the book before seeing the movie. The movie didn't do it justice. If you haven't read it ---- Do So--- I think so far it is my favorite. I also collect Robin Cook. write soon, love rebecca

First let me introduce myself, I'm Rebecca (Thunderstorm) wife of Jarhead (Chuck). Next I want to Welcome you to DW. I really like your attitude of insisting that you will walk again. I watched Chuck learn to live a new life just a couple of years ago. Yes it has been hard, but after 14 yrs. with this man I would do it all over again. Our 8 yr. old son Jacob has learned a lot from his dad. No Matter how big the problem, Deal With It!!! And Don't Give Up!!! This is the way Jacob has been raised, the hard way. Makes him a strong boy, and it will turn him into a Good Man.
Now at the age of 67 you are learning how to relive your life. I'm glad you found this website and I hope you meet MANY Friends. There are a lot of good people out here. I too am an amputee 12-27-06 They told me a year but did it in six months, Have even rode a bike with my 8 yr old. Play basketball Throw a football and Attempt Baseball> Keep your spirits up and your goals high. Stop in and say hello,Myself and my wife Thunderstorm are both on here.
